Okvir/Frame

Za ta predelan okvir, bi lahko rekla, da se je vse skupaj pokloplo med seboj. Že dlje časa sem razmišljala, da bi naredila nekaj takega, namesto slike samo misel. Ko mi je prijateljica Kimberly, ki sem jo spoznala na atcsforall forumu poslala paketek, v katerem se je nahajal tudi decoupage papir od 7gipsy, izziv pri craftalnici, pa je bil samo brca v rit, da sem se lotila dela. Za misel sem se odločila od A.Frank, saj mi je knjiga všec. Za lepljenje sem uporabila mod podge, nanesla pa sem ga pod papirjem in na papir.

For this altered frame, came everything together.  For a long time, I wanted to do something like this, instead of a picture just a quote in a frame. When a friend Kimberly, which I met on atcsforall forum, send me some tissue paper from 7gypsy and the challenge on craftalnica was say it with quote, I knew it is time to get to work. For glueing I used mod podge, I used under and on the paper. And for the quote I decided I will take on from A. Frank, since I like her book.

Ker pri meni ponavadi, vse eksplodira od barve, sem si tokrat zaželela, da bi bilo vse zelo umirjeno in preprosto. Dodala sem samo rožice na katerih sem uporabila Vintage photo in jih pošpricala z vodo, da so se cele obarvale.

Most of the time when I craft, there are a lot of colours, this time I wanted something calm. So I only added some flowers on which I used Vintage photo and used some water on them.

Predelan okvir/ Altered frame

Moj 6-mesečni nečak se je slikal za osebno in vsi v družini smo dobili povečano fotografijo. Fotografijo so  že vsi imeli razstavljeno na omarah, jaz pa sem mojo še kar imela v predalu. Ko je nekaj časa preteklo, sem se le odločila, da grem v Tedija in kupim lesen okvir za sliko, ki stane 1€. 

My 6 months old nephew got his first picture that he needed for his ID card and everyone in our family got a big picture of him. When everyone got the picture displayed, I still had mine in a drawer. So when some time passed by I decided to go to our one euro shop and bought a wooden frame.

Na fotografiji je oblečen v temno moder pulover, zato sem tudi dodatke naredila v tej barvi. S papirjem za brušenje sem prvo pobrusila po okvirju, saj je leta prelakiran in se lahko zgodi, da se stvari ne bodo dobro prijele na okvir.

On the picture is my nephew dressed  in dark blue sweater and that is the reason that I added all the embellishment in a blue color. First I sanded the frame because it had varnish on it and I was afraid that the embellishment wouldn't stick on it.

Na okvir sem nalepila zelen papir in ga distressala z vintage photo.

On the frame I added green paper and distressed it with vintage photo.

Na rjavo valovito lepenko sem dodala belo akrilno barvo, robove distresala s črno barvo. Dodala sem 3D nalepko medvedka z modrim metuljčkom. Okoli lepenke sem zavezala vrvico. Na zadnjo stran sem dodala stickpin in čipke. Zelo preprosto in enostavno.

On brown corrugated cardboard, I added white acrylic paint, I distressed the edges with black paint. Added a 3D sticker of a bear with a blue  tie. Around the cardboard I bind a thread. On the backside I glued a stickpin and lace.

Dodala sem tudi tag, ki sem ga po robovih prav tako distressala s črno barvo, nanj napisala Baby boy, dodala perle in na zadnjo stran dva zvitka rafije.

I also added a tag, which I also distressed with a black color, added a sign Baby boy, added pearls and raffia.

Predelan okvir/Altered frame

Približuje se valentinovo, zato sem se odločila, da predelam okvir za fotografije in sicer s pridihom valentinovega. Okvir je lesen in pred predelavo bel. Nanj sem s pomočjo mad podga nalepila scrapbook papir s srčki, ker pa so bili srčki premočno izpostavljeni, sem papir premazala z belo akrilno barvo in s pomočjo mokre brisačke odstranila večina bele barve.

So the countdown to Valentines day had started and I decided to altered a picture frame in a touch of Valentines. The frame is wooden and before the altering process it was white. With a help of mod  podge I glued scrapbook paper with hearts because the hearts were to exposed, I painted the frame with white acrilic paint and then using wet towel I removed most of the white.

Dodala sem črne bisere in tri bele rožice, ki sem jih narahlo distressala z distress inkom vintage photo.

I added black half pearls and three white flowers, which I have slightly distressed with distress ink vintage photo.

Na diagonalni konec sem dodala tri rozaste rože, bisere in stickpin z metuljčkom.

On the diagonal end I added three pink flowers, pearls and stickpin with butterfly.
